Dear Mr. Mayor,
with this are here to stand for gratitude abound d ' gold book Coats of arms of municipalities of the province of Como.

One day, at home, I took the typewritten drafts. In front of the dining room table, quite simply, wanted to understand the motives that prompted me to write a book so powerful, on a subject which no one from Como was never interested. I told him about my passion for heraldry, for pictures and local history.
I tried to convey my enthusiasm and emotions when I watched the coats of arms on road signs, paintings on the walls of houses, printed on the letterhead. Imagined a people who had fought battles, had taken refuge in castles which the emperor in his defeat, because of a swan in the fire and the meaning of a pastoral. His death left me with a blank, the work itself that is bereft of a white supporter and that is why, more than any other, I want to dedicate to him. The prize to which I yearn ardently is my deep gratitude to him. The same Mario
Landriscina, chief of the 118, was deeply surprised that Curtoni Angelo had agreed to present the work and write a page. Landriscina was used for this work was accepted among the nominations for the awards. He had written in his own hand a letter to support my work.
A work, again, promoted by the provincial government and all the mayors. I have received praise from the Head of State, by the Prime Minister, the President of the Province of Lecco and the Mayor of Lecco.
